Jenna Ortega Becomes Wednesday Addams in New Teaser Trailer For Tim Burton's "WEDNESDAY"

 

Tim Burton is back doing what he does best, bringing the spooky! This time he is the mastermind behind an all new, live action series bringing the Addams Family to the small screen with Netflix releasing the official trailer for Burton’s “Wednesday” this morning.

Jenna Ortega (Scream, X) stars in the new series as Wednesday Addams, with Luis Guzmán playing Gomez and Catherine Zeta-Jones playing Morticia in Tim Burton’s fresh vision.

Just from this teaser trailer, we have high hopes for the new series. Come on, Wednesday releasing piranha’s into her schools pool? Right on!

“Wednesday” is described as “a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.” It’s said to follow…

“Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships.”

Christina Ricci will also appear in the show, playing a brand new role.

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville”) are writing and showrunning. Burton is directing.
