New Trailer And Poster for 'THE FIRST OMEN' Take You Back To The 70s

 

A brand new prequel in the OMEN franchise is on the way with ‘THE FIRST OMEN’ and the devil is definitely in the details with the latest batch of promotional artwork and trailer which take you back to the 70s and we have them for ya below.

The First Omen is being released into theaters on April 5 by 20th Century Studios.

The trailer below is much of what we have already seen but with just a few new scenes and a 70s aesthetic, the trailer feels right at home here at MD. The period-authentic trailer hypes the film as “a film of psychological suspense… about an occurrence of earth-shaking importance.”

In the film, “When a young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.”

The original horror classic was released in 1976 and starred Gregory Peck, Lee Remick and Harvey Stephens and focused on a politician believing his son to be the antichrist. We know kids can be a handful but sheesh.

It’s been about 20yrs since we’ve seen a Omen sequel hit theaters and with this 70s feel to the flick, we’re all in.
