SHUDDER and IFC FILMS Get "INFESTED" With Arachnophobia

For those of a certain age, 1990s Arachnophobia is when fearing our eight-legged friends began. The pivotal film featured many a scene that has been lodged in our collective fear centers for decades, despite the scientific fact that spiders actually do us more good than harm. Perhaps we fear anything that has 4x the number of legs we do, or maybe the old tale about how the average person will swallow 8 spiders while they sleep during their lifetime. Regardless of why we fear our arachnid friends, they make great fodder for horror films. Something Shudder and IFC FIlms’ Infested seems to be delivering in spades.

The new trailer (seen below) gives us a glimpse into the horrors awaiting us in this French-language film that has been “infesting” various film festivals worldwide. Now, the film makes its streaming debut on Shudder on Friday, April 26th. Check out the trailer, and let us know if you’re as creeped out as we are!
