Watch Jamie Clayton Transform Into The Hell Priest For Hulu's HELLRAISER In New Featurette

David Bruckner’s Hellraiser reboot is now streaming exclusively on Hulu and the folks over at 20th Century Studios have such sights to show you with a brand new featurette on the makeup effects that the film uses. In particular, the prosthetics and work that was done to turn Jamie Clayton into the films Hell Priest.

Titled “Becoming the Priest,” the short featurette video introduces Jamie Clayton as the new Hell Priest (aka Pinhead), showing off time lapse video footage of the incredible makeup.

“The makeup takes four hours to do, and about 45 minutes to an hour to remove,” Clayton explains. She describes the gruesome new look, “It’s so beautiful. Oh, it’s wild.”

In the new Hellraiser movie from Hulu, “A young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.”

The project is being described as a “loyal, yet evolved re-imagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic,” and the best possible news is that Clive Barker is on board as a producer.
